Ruby died July 11, 2014 in Lubbock. She was born December 4, 1926 in Clyde, Texas to Evin Terry and Annie Jane (Summers) Griffin. She married Everett Lambert in Abilene, Texas on June 16, 1951.

Background:
Ruby moved to Muleshoe, Texas from Clyde in 1948. She was an elementary school teacher for Muleshoe ISD from 1948 until 1987, and was a member of the Muleshoe Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett; her parents; three brothers, Richard Griffin, Clyde Griffin and Dale Griffin; and one sister, Bernice Tucker.


Survivors:
Survivors include two sons, David Lambert of Round Rock, Texas and Jim Lambert of Austin, Texas; one sister, Bonnie Wood of Stephenville, Texas; two grandsons, Eric and Joseph Lambert and two great-grandsons.
