Joe died August 27, 2014 at his home in Muleshoe. He was born August 2, 1936 in Menard, Texas to Armando and Aurora (Garcia) Del Toro. He married Francis Bryand in Muleshoe on June 1, 1996.

Background:
Joe moved from Hereford to Muleshoe in 1990. He owned and operated Joe’s Trading Post. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Alicia Ramirez.


Survivors:
Survivors include his wife, Francis; four sons, Herbey Del Toro of Madera, California, Albert Del Toro of Madera, California, Bobby Perez and his wife, Dolores of McKinney, Texas and Eddie Perez and his wife, Sandra of Lubbock, Texas; two daughters, Sandra Antenore and her husband, Matt of San Diego, California and Sally Maldonado of Visalia, California; a sister, Aurora Flores of Hereford, Texas; five brothers, Adolfo Del Toro of Hereford, Texas, Rey Del Toro of Muleshoe, Texas, Salvador Del Toro of Del Rio, Texas, Armando Del Toro of Lubbock, Texas and Eleo Del Toro of Grand Prairie, Texas; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
