Gary died September 20, 2014 in Lubbock, Texas He was born April 14, 1956 in Lubbock, Texas to Billy and Ann (Pennington) Gerik. He married Paula Hastey in Littlefield, Texas on February 7, 1976.

Background:
Gary enjoyed playing golf, hunting and fishing. He also loved spending time with his grandkids. He was a truck driver and a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Ann Gerik.


Survivors:
Survivors include his wife, Paula; two daughters, Melissa Gerik of Morton, Texas and Kellye Sealy and her husband, Nicholas of Clovis, New Mexico, two sisters, Terri Taylor and Lisa Davis, both of Burleson, Texas; and two grandchildren, Caiden and Kenzley.
