Gumercindo died October 10, 2014 in Muleshoe. He was born January 13, 1913 in Bado De Pierda Ojnaga, Mexico to Torribio and Cesaria (Munoz) Aguirre. He married Lucia Carrasco in Bado De Pierda Ojnaga, Mexico on January 20, 1950.

Background:
Gumercindo moved to Muleshoe from Mexico in 1970. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Muleshoe. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucia; his parents; a daughter, Martha; a son, Alejandro; a granddaughter, Yuri Pacheco; and a great-grandson, Jax Pacheco.


Survivors:
Survivors include two sons, Agapito Aguirre of Muleshoe, Texas and Gilberto Aguirre and his wife, Shirley of Muleshoe, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Cordy Aguirre of Muleshoe, Texas; a brother, Samuel Aguirre of Odessa, Texas; 6 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
