Charlene Farley  Treider (Bass)
Charlene died December 19, 2014 in Muleshoe. She was born October 31, 1934 in Littlefield, Texas to Henry and Ruth (Phillips) Bass. She married Roy Lee Farley in Greenwood, Arkansas on July 1, 1952. Roy passed away in 1988, and Charlene later married Raymond Treider on October 15, 1988 in Muleshoe, Texas.

Charlene was a lifetime resident of the Muleshoe community. She was a bookkeeper and taught the AARP 55 Alive driving course for many years. She was a member of the Monday Morning Women’s Bible Study. She enjoyed spending time at the Senior Citizens Center, crocheting, and making quilts. Charlene also loved travelling. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Muleshoe. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Lee Farley; her parents; and one step-daughter, Rhonda Kitchens.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond Treider; one son, Scotty Farley and his wife, Darla of Clovis, New Mexico; two daughters, LeAnn Gallman and her husband, David of Muleshoe, Texas and Susan Kerby and her husband, A.L. of Bovina, Texas; one sister, Jonell Wilkerson of Clovis, New Mexico; two brothers, Gerald Bass of Bloomfield, New Mexico and Terry Bass of Aurora, Colorado; grandchildren and great-grandchildren include, John and Shelly Madrid and Dane; Todd and Brenna Shipman and Blayne, Braden, Tate and Taylor; Jason and Nikki Kerby and Kaden, Mason and Rylan; Tyson and R.J. Kerby and Ashton; Josh Kerby; Skylar and Erin Neitsch and Breiton; and Dillon Gallman; two step-sons, Russell Treider of Cypress, Texas and Reginald Treider of Cypress, Texas; one step-daughter, RayGena Barrett of Muleshoe, Texas; and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
