Mildred Redwine (Bledsoe)
Mildred went to see her Lord January 16, 2015 in Lubbock, Texas. She was born June 29, 1922 in Ft. Sumner, New Mexico to Charles and Willie (Bledsoe) Duncan.

Mildred’s dad had homesteaded ranch land at Ft. Sumner, and she grew up and attended school there. She met Eugene Redwine, and they married in Ft. Sumner on December 24, 1939. They celebrated 75 wonderful years together this past Christmas Eve. A daughter, Donna Gene was born in 1942. They also moved from Fort Sumner to the Muleshoe that year. A son, Bobby Dean was born in 1950. They lived at the same location until they moved to Runningwater Draw Care Center in 2012. Mildred was a homemaker, a cook and a seamstress. In her younger days, she belonged to a home demonstration club and WMU. She volunteered as a helper for “Meals on Wheels” and Muleshoe Medical Center. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Muleshoe. She taught Sunday school for 40 years and spent much of her time reading the Bible preparing for the next lesson. Above all this, she was a loving example to her family of what a Godly woman should be. Mildred was an inspiration to all. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Browning Duncan and Jessie Willie Bledsoe Duncan; her stepmother, Henrietta McCants Duncan; her sister, Willie Rose Duncan; her brother, Henry Newton Duncan; and a great-grandson, Jonathan Miller.
