Obituary for Arnis Hansel Morris

Arnis Hansel  Morris
Arnis died January 20, 2015 in Muleshoe. He was born October 29, 1926 in Silver Creek, McCurtain County, Oklahoma to William Harmon and Mary Evina (Judge) Morris. He married Irene Magby in Idabel, Oklahome on September 14, 1945.

Arnis moved to Muleshoe in 1955, and then to Progress in 1976. He was a co-op manager for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Brent Morris of Battiest, Oklahoma; six brothers, Jim, Virge, Horace, Dewey, Opal and Woodrow Morris; and two sisters, Esther Graham and Nina Deaton.

Survivors include, his wife, Irene; two sons, James Morris and his wife, Mary of Idabel, Oklahoma and Melvin Morris and his wife, Vicki of Clay’s Corner, Texas; three grandchildren, Chandra Rickey and her husband, Scott of Hochatown, Oklahoma, Holly Agee and her husband, John David of Muleshoe, Texas and Josh Morris and his wife, Jill of Clay’s Corner, Texas; great-grandchildren, Chandler Rickey of Hochatown, Oklahoma, Austin Morris of Goodwell, Oklahoma, Jaymi Thomas of Mustang, Oklahoma, Miles Butler of Battiest, Oklahoma, Presley and Hudson Agee of Muleshoe, Texas and Jesse and Charley Morris of Clay’s Corner, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
