Condolence: I had the pleasure of teaching across the hall from Evelyn for seven years. She became a great mentor to me, as well as a wonderful friend. I was able to visit her once while in Ruidoso. Even though her memories of our time together were gone, her bubbling personality was just the same. My condolences to the family as you go through this difficult time.

Condolence: Mrs. Northcutt lived across the alley from my family when we lived in Muleshoe. My daughter, Leigh, was in her 6th grade math class. Evelyn was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever known, and Leigh loved her as a teacher. I will always remember her kindness and gentle ways. It is my pleasure to call her my friend. She will be greatly missed, but warmly remembered by many of us.

Condolence: Dean, Mark, Mike and Family! Evelyn was a very sweet and wonderful lady that even though she hasn't known us for years, her love for all was deep inside. There are so many special memories and I will always cherish being part of her life. I was also lucky to live close to her for the last 9 years, although it was hard to visit. She is in Heaven, happy, and not worrying about a thing. God Bless You All!
