Tomas died May 14, 2015 at his home. He was born May 6, 1960 in Harlingen, Texas to Oscar and Olivia (Martinez) Longoria.

Tomas moved to Earth from Harlingen in 1961. He enjoyed going out for rides and listening to music. He loved his cokes and coffee. Tomas also loved to color. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Manuel Longoria and Cristobal Longoria and his grandparents.

Survivors include, his parents, Oscar and Olivia; five sisters, Maria (Nena) Olivas and her husband, Jose of Earth, Texas, Leticia (Lety) Moreno and her husband, Alejandro of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, Christy Flores and her husband, Roy of Tulia, Texas, Noami Longoria of Earth, Texas, and Angelica Longoria of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota; eight brothers, Felix Longoria and his wife, Eufemia of Earth, Texas, Fernando Longoria and his wife, Lillie of Earth, Texas, Oscar Longoria and his wife, Flora of Earth, Texas, Antonio (Tony) Longoria and his wife, Josie of Elbow Lake, Minnesota, Jose Longoria and his wife, Debbie of Earth, Texas, Edward Longoria of Earth, Texas, and Reynaldo (Rey) Longoria and his wife, Deborah of Earth, Texas; a sister-in-law, Dolores Gonzales of Santa Rosa, Texas; and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nieces.
