Jesus died July 23, 2015 at his home. He was born September 7, 1924 in Menard, Texas. He married Inez Navejar in San Angelo, Texas on July 17, 1946.

Jesus moved to Muleshoe from Menard in 1950. He was a member of the Immaculate Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, three brothers, and one great granddaughter.

Survivors include his wife, Inez; three daughters, Olivia Flores of Lubbock, Texas, Lydia Flores of Lubbock, Texas and Angela Garza of Lubbock, Texas; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
