Graveside Service for Vernon Puckett Age 88, of Muleshoe, Texas, is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, April 1, 2016 at Muleshoe Memorial Park with Dr. Stacy Conner of Muleshoe officiating. Vernon died Wednesday, March 30, 2016 in Muleshoe. He was born April 28, 1927 in Blanchard, Oklahoma to Ray Franklin and Joyce Mae (Wise) Puckett.

Vernon had lived in the Muleshoe community most of his life. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a farmer. Vernon is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard Puckett.

He is survived by his wife, Joe Ann Puckett; his two sons, Don Puckett of Muleshoe, Texas and Ronnie Puckett of Abilene, Texas; his daughter, Susan Sudduth of Muleshoe, Texas; his sister, Shirley Rowell of Lindsay, California; seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
