Church Service for Lucy Flores Recio, age 74, of Muleshoe, Texas, is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Leo Pahamtang of Muleshoe officiating. Rosary will be said at 7:00 PM, Friday, May 6, 2016 at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Bailey County Cemetery. Lucy died Wednesday, May 4, 2016 in Muleshoe. She was born April 5, 1942 in Lockhart, Texas to Teofilio and Alexandria (Vasquez) Flores. She married Gilbert Lopez Recio in Muleshoe, Texas on Augutst 21, 1972.

Lucy was a homemaker and a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Muleshoe. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert in 1994; her daughter, Louisa; a sister, Maria Coronado; and a brother, Juan Flores.

Survivors include four sons, Gilbert Recio Jr. of Muleshoe, Texas, Arthur Recio and his wife, Frances of Muleshoe, Tommy Recio of Wichita Falls, Texas and Joe Rodriguez and his wife Lucee of Muleshoe; five daughters, Gloria Lozano and her husband, Gonzalo Jr. of Muleshoe, Texas, Mary Pena and her husband, Rudy of Dumas, Texas, Linda Garcia and her husband, Luis of Amarillo, Texas, Julie Smith and her husband, John of Havre, Montana and Rosa Maria Recio of Muleshoe, Texas; three brothers, Teofilio Flores Jr. of Anton, Texas, Benny Flores of Anton, Texas and Manuel Flores of Kingman, Arizona; seventeen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
