Obituary for Betty Jo Glaze (Tarter)
Church Service for Betty Glaze, age 87, formerly of Muleshoe, Texas, is scheduled for 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 16, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Muleshoe, with Dr. Stacy Conner of Muleshoe officiating. Burial will be in Muleshoe Memorial Park at 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 16, 2016, before the church service. Betty died Friday, June 10, 2016 in Amarillo, Texas. She was born May 21, 1929 in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma. She married James Glaze in Lazbuddie, Texas on April 13, 1949.
Betty was a long time resident of Muleshoe. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Muleshoe. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, James in 2005; her parents; seven sisters; and two brothers.
Betty is survived by her son, James Benton Glaze and his wife, Susan of Twin Falls, Idaho; her two daughters, Harriet Bynum and her husband, Eddie of Amarillo, Texas and Sondra Feagley and her husband, Sam of College Station, Texas; six grandchildren, Sylvia Zuber, Michelle Jedlicka, Alicia Hampton, Hanna Glaze, Rachael Glaze and Victoria Glaze; and five great-grandchildren, Sydney Zuber, Landon Jedlicka, Kourtland Jedlicka, Cole Flanagan and Collin Flanagan.
