Konnie died July 20, 2016 in Lubbock. She was born July 16, 1958 in Muleshoe, Texas to Homer and Doris (Hanna) Richardson She married Dan Simpson in Threeway, Texas on May 27, 1977.

Konnie had lived in Morton all of her life. She graduated from Three Way High School and Eastern New Mexico University. Konnie owned and operated Simpson Bookkeeping in Morton for 30 Years.

Konnie is survived by her husband Dan Simpson of Morton, Texas. Her mother Doris Richardson of Morton, Texas. One Sister Belinda Steinbock of Sudan, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother Ronnie Richardson.

Family suggest memorials be made to The American Diabetes Association, 8008 Slide Road, Lubbock, Texas, 79424.
