Elsie Faye died Wednesday, October 19, 2016 in Levelland, Texas. She was born February 3, 1931 in Brownfield, Texas. She married Wallace Hesterlee in Lubbock, Texas on May 29, 1966.

Elsie Faye was a homemaker and a member of the Missionary Baptist Church in Morton. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wallace; her parents; and her brother, Ohlen Ray.

Survivors include her grandson, Tracy Taylor; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
