Condolence: I was sorry to hear of James passing. Many years ago in 1967 James did something that made me a believer in prayer. I was working for James and Jack that summer after my second year in college. James and I had been working on a job near Dimmitt. We were on the way back to Muleshoe when we encountered a severe thunder storm. Suddenly we discovered we were in water rushing over the road and the back of the pickup truck started to float. James said a quick, brief prayer " Dear Lord please help us" Almost immediately the truck got traction and we got out of the flooded roadway. I believe it was that prayer that saved us that night. I will always remember James Kemp as a good and faithful Christian.
