Church service for Lois Washington, age 88, of Muleshoe, Texas, is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 19, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Muleshoe with Dr. Stacy Conner
officiating. Burial will be in Muleshoe Memorial Park. Lois died Tuesday, November 15, 2016 in Muleshoe. She was born September 12, 1928 in Temple, Oklahoma to Willis Edward and Rosa Nell (Fulton) Brown. She married George Washington in Frederick, Oklahoma on June 26, 1948.
Lois was a school secretary for many years. She enjoyed sewing, reading and keeping up with genealogy. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Muleshoe. Lois is preceded in death by her husband, George in 2010; her parents; her sister, Lorene Chambers; and her brother, Lloyd Brown.
Lois is survived by her son, Mark Washington and his wife, Lynda of Muleshoe, Texas; her daughter, Lana Lewis and her husband, Mike of Lubbock, Texas; her sister, Christine Taylor of Azel, Texas; her brother, Olen Brown of Columbia, Missouri; and her three grandchildren, Dusty Lewis and his wife, Ashley, Eric Washington and his wife, Kyra and Cooper Washington.
