Obituary for Aurora Sifuentez (Ochoa)
Church service for Aurora Sifuentez, age 69, of Earth, Texas, is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 5, 2017 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Earth with Father Rene Perez of Muleshoe officiating. Rosary will be said at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Burial will be in Earth Memorial Cemetery. Aurora died Tuesday, January 3, 2017 in Littlefield, Texas. She was born July 14, 1947 in Brownfield, Texas to Yesidoro and Manuela (Pauda) Ochoa. She married George Sifuentez, Jr. in November of 1969.
Aurora was a member of the Guadalupanas, and taught Sunday school at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, where she was also a member. She was a very loving mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Yesidoro Ochoa.
Aurora is survived by her husband, George; her son, Noah Sifuentez of Earth, Texas; her five daughters, Angelita Juarez and her husband, Edward of Earth, Texas, Carmelita Sifuentez of Amherst, Texas, Carmele Sifuentez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Gregoria Mendoza of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Aurora Sifuentez of Earth, Texas; her five sisters, Marylou Savila of Amarillo, Texas, Sylvia Alonzo of Brownwood, Texas, Guadalupe Garcia of Amarillo, Texas, Dominga Ochoa of Amarillo, Texas and Delores Williams of Amarillo, Texas; her three brothers, Epifanio Ochoa of Amarillo, Texas, Francisco Ochoa of Amarillo, Texas and Felipe Ochoa of Amarillo, Texas; 26 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
