Obituary for Bret Allen Clements
Church service for Bret Allen Clements, age 35, of Lubbock, Texas, is scheduled for 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 25, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Muleshoe with Dale Griswold of Muleshoe officiating. Bret died Tuesday, February 14, 2017 in Lubbock. He was born September 30, 1981 in Muleshoe, Texas to Delmar and Patricia Ann (Pettyjohn) Clements.
Bret graduated from Muleshoe High School in 2000, attended UT Arlington, then moved back to Lubbock to graduate from Texas Tech University. He was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity while at UT Arlington. Bret was always passionate about Texas, history and his family. He treasured time spent fishing with his dad. He is preceded in death by his father, Delmar Clements and his sister, Tisha Clements.
Bret is survived by his mother, Patricia Ann Clements of Lubbock, Texas; his two sisters, Shanna Chapman of Lubbock, Texas and Casey Clements of Lubbock, Texas; his niece, Shay Chapman; his nephew, Dustin Clements; and his great-nephew, Kasen Castillo.
The family suggests memorials be sent to Bailey County Meals on Wheels, 300 South First Street, Muleshoe, Texas, 79347.
