Henry O'Don Bellar died Thursday, April 13, 2017 in Lubbock. He was born September 30, 1934 in Sudan, Texas to E.C. and Cleo (Coleman) Bellar. He married Darlene Blackwell in Clovis, New Mexico on December 24, 1956.

O’Don was lifetime member of the Sudan community. He graduated from Sudan High School in 1953 and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1954 until 1956. He was a farmer and loved hunting, fishing and watching sports. O’Don is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John Wayne Bellar.

O’Don is survived by his wife, Darlene; his son, Larry O’Don Bellar of Sudan, Texas and his brother, Jeryl Bellar of Bula, Texas.
