John Aaron Mendoza died Saturday, April 22, 2017 near Claude, Texas. He was born November 15, 1967 in Wharton County, Texas to Ramon and Janie (Yanis) Mendoza. He married Marlene Nino in Muleshoe on June 20, 2015.

John had lived in Muleshoe since 1975. He worked with his father, Ramon, at Mendoza Irrigation Services. He had a huge heart and would do anything for anyone. John cherished his family, especially his wife, mother and father. He was the Church superintendent and bass player. He was a wonderful grandfather, and loved all kids. John loved music and always put God first. He is preceded in death by a grandson, Joseph Bustillos and a niece, Kandace Lee Mendoza.

John is survived by his wife, Marlene; his parents, Ramon and Janie; his 12 sons, Jason Mendoza of Muleshoe, Texas, J.J. Mendoza and his wife, Jasmine of Muleshoe, Texas, Jonathon Aaron Mendoza and his wife, Jacqueline of Hereford, Texas, Jared Mendoza and his wife, Julia of Muleshoe, Texas, Alexander Mendoza of Clovis, New Mexico, John Aaron Mendoza Jr. of Muleshoe, Texas, Anthony Mendoza of Clovis, New Mexico, James Mendoza and his wife, Veronica of Muleshoe, Texas, Aaron Mendoza of Snyder, Texas and Isiah Mendoza of Snyder, Texas, Gabriel Todd Martinez and his wife, Kelsey of Lubbock, Texas and Nicholas Martinez of Muleshoe, Texas; his 5 daughters, Juanita Scolley and her husband, Tony of Muleshoe, Texas, Esther Mendoza of Muleshoe, Texas, Victoria Cabrera and her husband, Ralph of Muleshoe, Texas, Priscilla Mendoza of Clovis, New Mexico and Felecity Mendoza of Snyder, Texas; his 5 sisters, Rachel Anaya of Muleshoe, Texas, Anna Lozano of Muleshoe, Texas, Prisela Herrera of Sudan, Texas, Rebekah Mendoza of Muleshoe, Texas and Elizabeth Ramirez of Muleshoe, Texas; his 5 brothers, Ramon Mendoza Jr. of Muleshoe, Texas, Abraham Mendoza of Muleshoe, Texas, Jose Mendoza of Seagoville, Texas, Jacob Mendoza of Muleshoe, Texas and Timothy Mendoza of Dallas, Texas; and 28 grandchildren.
