Obituary for Ike Williams
Ike Williams died Saturday, May 13, 2017 in Morton. He was born August 12, 1929 in Amherst, Texas to George Gilbert and Marie (Moore) Williams. He married Erma Long in Lingo, New Mexico on June 10, 1946.
Ike had lived in the Morton community since 1935. He was a farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church in Morton. He is preceded in death by his wife, Erma in 2007 and his parents.
Ike is survived by his two sons, Mike Williams and his wife, Loretta of Sundown, Texas and Marty Williams of Morton, Texas; his granddaughter, Rhiannon Williams of College Station, Texas; his two sisters, Marjorie Key and her husband, Danny of Levelland, Texas and Wanda Sullivan and her husband, Jo Ed of Plainview, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
