Obituary for Mollie A. Davis (Walters)
Mollie A. Davis died Saturday, August 12, 2017 in Muleshoe. She was born December 1, 1933 in Brown County, Texas to Carson and Whittie (Tabor) Walters. She married Carol G. Davis in Post, Texas in 1949.
Mollie loved to sew and crochet, as well as being a collector of many things. She also enjoyed fishing. She was a member of Progress Baptist Church. Mollie is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Carol; a son, Ronnie Davis; a daughter, Charlotte Campbell; her parents; and her brother, Billy Walters.
Mollie is survived by her three sons, Larry Davis and his wife, Vivian of Odessa, Texas, Danny Davis of Hawley, Texas and John Davis and his wife, Jeri of Hawley, Texas; her three daughters, Barbara Beversdorf and her husband, Daniel of New Braunfels, Texas, Anita Johnson and her husband, Don of Muleshoe, Texas and Joy Radford of Hawley, Texas; her four sisters, Patricia Henderson of Coleman, Texas, Sherry Nation of Gilmore, Texas, Mary Davis of Coleman, Texas and Neomi of Virginia; her five brothers, Cecil Walters of Hawley, Texas, Lee Walters of Hawley, Texas, Truman Walters of Hawley, Texas, Mackie Joe Walters of Coleman, Texas and Leslie Gene Walters of Coleman, Texas; 24 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson.
