Obituary for Michael Eugene Jones
Michael Eugene Jones died Wednesday, October 18, 2017 in Amarillo. He was born October 29, 1952 in Muleshoe, Texas to Buddy Eugene and Dolores (Jacops) Jones.
Mike graduated from Palo Duro High School in Amarillo in 1972. He attended Amarillo College and was an electrician for the City of Amarillo. He retired two years ago. Mike is preceded in death by his father, Buddy.
Mike is survived by his son, Chris Jones and his wife, Sarah of Mexia, Texas; his daughter, Rachel Jones of Austin, Texas; his mother, Dolores Catron of Albuquerque, New Mexico; his two sisters, Vickie Johnson of Austin, Texas and Kathy Edwards and her husband, Levoy of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and three grandchildren Conner Jones, Dylan Nichols and Jaden Greenwood.
