Jane Ann Sealey (Kelso)
Jane Ann (Kelso) Sealey. Left this earth to be with her Father in Heaven on Sunday, November 5, 2017. She passed peacefully at home with her family. Jane was born on July 13, 1936 to Everett C. and Emma “Grace” (Wicks) Kelso.

Jane graduated from Clovis High School in 1955. That same year, she was the first person to water ski at Ft. Sumner Lake. Jane then attended NW Institute of Medical Technology in Minneapolis, Minnesota with her best friend Judy Vaughn. One day, while dragging Main Street, she met her husband, Joe. He was from Rockmart, Georgia and was stationed at Cannon Air Force Base. They settled in Clovis and Jane became a proud farmer’s wife, mother of four, grandmother to eight grandchildren, and great-grandmother to two great-grandchildren. She was a member of First Baptist Church and Parkland Baptist Church in Clovis. She was also a founder of the Curry County Youth Horseshow. Jane enjoyed gardening, cross-stitch, Bible study and shopping, and had a great sense of humor. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Wesley Kelso and her granddaughter, Padyn “PayPay”” Hughes.

Jane is survived by her husband, Joel Raymond (Joe) Sealey; her three daughters, Suzan Hughes and her husband, Kevin of Bovina, Texas, Darla Sealey of Bovina, Texas and Layle Sanchez and her husband, Antonio of Portales, New Mexico; her son, Jay Sealey and his wife, Pam of Clovis, New Mexico; her brother, Max Kelso and his wife, Jean of Missouri; her eight grandchildren, Haylee Ruiz and her husband, Henry of Muleshoe, Texas, Haston Sanchez, Aubrie Sanchez and Gavin Sanchez of Portales, New Mexico, Kirk “McKenna” of Clovis, Gracie “McKall” of Lubbock, Texas, and Madalynn “Maddie Jo” of Lubbock, Texas; Great Grandmother to two Great Grandchildren Lyla and Liam; and numerous nieces and nephews.
