Boby Ray "Bob" Rector died Tuesday November 7, 2017 in Whiteface. He was born January 12, 1946 in Morton, Texas to John and Thelma (Pratt) Rector. He married Edith Davidson in Levelland, Texas on June 14, 1968.

Bob worked for Cochran County for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Jean Cox and Jerri Bates; four brothers, Billy Joe Rector, Claude Rector, Roy Jack Rector and Donald Wayne Rector.

Bob is survived by his wife, Edith; his three daughters, Lisa Blake and her husband, Lonnie of Whiteface, Texas, Cheyanne Martin and her husband, Dearl of Whiteface, Texas and Elizabeth Rector of Whiteface, Texas; two brothers, Edward Rector and his wife, Dorene of Morton, Texas and Charles Rector and his wife, Denise of Whiteface, Texas; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
