Delbert John Atwood, age 54, of Olton, Texas died Saturday, November 4, 2017 in Littlefield, Texas. He was born December 6, 1962 in Muleshoe, Texas to Delbert James and Martha (Ray) Atwood. He married Robin Berry in Muleshoe on July 1, 1991.
Delbert liked playing the guitar and hunting arrowheads. He treasured his time with his family. He is preceded in death by his father.
Delbert is survived by his wife, Robin; his four sons, D.J. Atwood and his wife, Jessica of Earth, Texas, Shawn Atwood of Earth, Texas, Zachery Atwood of Muleshoe, Texas and Steven Atwood of Muleshoe, Texas; his mother, Martha Atwood of Olton, Texas; his three sisters, LaQuita Smith of Tucson, Arizona, Sue Hamilton of Abernathy, Texas and Quilly Keith of Ft. Worth, Texas; and his two brothers, Danny Atwood of Kress, Texas and Vance Atwood of Olton, Texas.
The family suggests memorials be sent to Parkview Care Center, 1100 West Avenue J, Muleshoe, Texas, 79347.
