Obituary for JoAnn Reeves (Hodge)
JoAnn (Hodge) Reeves died Thursday, November 9, 2017 in Morton. She was born July 12, 1940 in Tahoka, Texas to Joe and Myrtle (Hammons) Hodge. She married Jack Reeves in Morton, Texas on June 25, 1960.
JoAnn worked for the Cochran County Sheriff Office as a dispatcher and as a secretary for Three Way Schools. She was a great cook and the most loving and kind soul you could ever meet. She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Daniel Reeves; two sisters, Ruby Davis and Ruth Minor; and two brothers, Wylie Hodge and Lewis Hodge.
JoAnn is survived by her husband, Jack, her two sons, Edwin Reeves of Morton, Texas and Kevin Reeves and his wife Randa, of Morton, Texas; her daughter, Robin Johnson of Morton, Texas; two sisters, Linnie Moore of Midland, Texas and Sue Dewbre of Liberty Hill, Texas; four brothers, Jess Hodge of Whiteface, Texas, Donald Hodge of Smithville, Texas, Wilson Hodge of Morton, Texas and Dub Hodge of Borger, Texas; and two grandchildren; Devin Reeves of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Jared Reeves of Morton, Texas.
The family suggests memorials be sent to the American Heart Association, 2514 82nd Street, Lubbock, Texas, 79423.
