Bobbie Sue Ferris died Thursday, March 22, 2018 in Muleshoe at the age of 83 years, 4 months and 21 days. She was born November 1, 1934 in Sherman, Texas. Her husband, Bill Ferris, passed away on April 20, 1974.

Bobbie Sue loved to read, and was an avid Texas Rangers and LSU fan. She treasured her time spent with her grandchildren and attending their events. She is preceded in death by her husband; her two sons, Joe Weatherman and Butch Weatherman; her parents; two brothers, Dayton Lane Jr. and Donald Lane; and one sister, Florence Neal.

Bobbie Sue is survived by her daughter, Darla Myatt and her husband, Steve of Muleshoe, Texas; her three sisters, Christine Olds of Dennison, Texas, Louise McKinney of Sherman, Texas and Katheline Currah of Tuscon, Arizona; her sister-in-law, Sara Lane of Sherman, Texas; six grandchildren, Shaun Weatherman, Bobby Joe Weatherman and his wife, Crystal; Deanna Weatherman, Cassie Myatt, Samantha Monedero and her husband, Manuel and Hallie Myatt; and three great-grandchildren, Sierra Weatherman, Joseph Weatherman and Mateo Monedero.
