Anselma Zambrano Reyes died Saturday, May 26, 2018 in Plainview, Texas at the age of 60 years, 1 month and 4 days. She was born April 22, 1958 in Muleshoe, Texas to Efren and Amalia Zambrano Sr. She married Antonio Reyes on August 28, 2007 in Earth.
Anselma loved to sing. She was a people person and treasured her grandchildren. She adored being a caregiver to others. Anselma was a member of the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Earth. She is preceded in death by her parents; two granddaughters, Christena Reyes and Sonia Dimas; and a great-granddaughter, Athena Chapa.
Anselma is survived by her husband, Antonio; her son, Ernesto Torres Jr. of Earth, Texas; her two daughters, Patricia Flores and her husband, Joe of Earth, Texas and Martina Alaniz and her husband, Alfred of Bryan, Texas; her sister, Jana Marie Posada and her husband, Ramiro of Caldwell, Texas; her two brothers, Efran Zambrano Jr. and his wife, Inez of Littlefield, Texas and Teddy Zambrano and his wife, Lupe of Littlefield, Texas; thirteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
