Obituary for Linda White (Higginbotham)
Linda White died Friday, July 27, 2018 in Lubbock, Texas at the age of 69 years, 2 months and 14 days.. She was born May 13, 1949 in Muleshoe, Texas to Ben Higginbotham and Ozell (Owen) Cherry. She married Duane White in Muleshoe on September 30, 1966.
Linda was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting. She was a great cook and loved her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Don Taylor. She was a member of the Lariat Church of Christ.
Linda is survived by her husband, Duane; her three sons, Brian White and his wife, Jamie of Amarillo, Texas, Robbie White and his wife, Natalie of Panhandle, Texas and Corby White and his wife, Kasey of Panhandle, Texas; her two sisters, Janie Phillips of Dora, New Mexico and Reba Thompson of Newkirk, Oklahoma; and her eight grandchildren, Madisson, Cannon, Olivia, Jaxon, Cooper, Gemma, Samuel and Kenzie.
The family suggests memorials be sent to the New Mexico Children’s Home, 1356 New
Mexico 236, Poratles, New Mexico, 88130.
