Obituary for Gene Paul Jarman

Gene Paul Jarman
Gene Paul met his heavenly Father on Monday, September 24, 2018 in Lubbock, Texas at the age of 81 years, 9 months and 17 days. He was born in Clovis, New Mexico on November 29, 1936 to Orby and Juanita (Wariner) Jarman. He married Coralynn Hicks in Muleshoe, Texas on July 18, 1964.

Gene Paul grew up in the Lazbuddie and Muleshoe communities and was a graduate of Muleshoe High School. Gene Paul farmed in Lazbuddie where he and Coralynn raised their family. He owned his seed and crop insurance company, Jarman Seed in Muleshoe. Gene Paul was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Muleshoe. He was a devoted family man, an avid golfer and domino player, and enjoyed cheering on his children and grandchildren in their activities. Gene Paul never met a stranger. He loved to laugh, tell jokes, and had a zest for life, but most importantly loved his savior, Jesus Christ. His family will miss most his generous and gentle heart, his optimistic outlook, his laughter, his affection, and pride of his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orby and Juanita Jarman.

Gene Paul is survived by his wife of 54 years, Coralynn; his sister and her husband Jo Dean and Merlyn Neal; his daughter Wendy and husband Darren Grimes of Lubbock; his son Wes Jarman and wife Kristi of Farwell; his daughter Gina and husband Chris Hill of Fort Worth; and his grandchildren, Madalynn, Emma, and Sam Woolard, Brenna, Jackson, and Jayton Jarman, and Jaxon, Hadley, and Colette Hill.
