Ruby Ailene (McCormick) Stanberry died Wednesday, December 26, 2018 in Earth, Texas at the age of 94 years, 9 months and 3 days. She was born March 23, 1924 in Russellville, Arkansas to W.A. and Ella (Poplin) McCormick. She married Alfred Henry "Jack" Stanberry in Danville, Arkansas on December 23, 1942.
Ruby was a homemaker and known for her great cooking, especially her German chocolate cakes. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack; her parents; and 2 sons, Danny Ray Stanberry and James Kent Stanberry.
Ruby is survived by her two sons, Redd Stanberry and his wife, Marilyn of Buckeye, Arizona and Rick Stanberry of Muleshoe, Texas; her two daughters, Evelyn Morris of Muleshoe, Texas and Linda Stanberry of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her daughter-in-law, Jody Stanberry of Buckeye, Arizona; nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and close friends.
