Obituary for Beatrice Reyna Garcia (Reyna)
Beatrice Reyna Garcia died Saturday, November 24, 2018 in Lubbock, Texas at the age of 54 years, 4 months and 19 days. She was born July 5, 1964 in Morton, Texas to Roman and Maria (Berlanga) Reyna.
Beatrice worked for the Muleshoe Housing Authority for many years. She also worked as a teacher’s aide at Muleshoe ISD and at Ellis Funeral Home. She was a member of El Buen Pastor Church in Muleshoe. She is preceded in death by her father, Roman, her sister, JoAnn Reyna and her brother, John Michael Reyna.
Beatrice is survived by her son, Roy Johnathan Garcia and his wife, Yvette of Plano, Texas; her daughter, Joni Jimenez and her husband, Brian of Lubbock, Texas; her mother, Maria Reyna of Muleshoe, Texas; her sister, Sandra Gutierrez and her husband, Julian of Snyder, Texas; her brother, Jose Carlos Reyna and his wife, Krystal of Lazbuddie, Texas; her eight grandchildren, Libby Marrufo, Mercedes Jimenez, Noah Marrufo, Julius Marrufo, Samuel Jimenez, Chloe Villa, Matilda Garcia and Ryan Garcia; and her great-granddaughter, Elysabeth Marrufo.
The family suggests memorials be sent to Muleshoe Meals on Wheels, Bailey County Courthouse, 301 South First Street, Muleshoe, Texas, 79347.
