Bennie Sue (Welch) Free died Tuesday, February 25, 2020 in Earth, Texas. Bennie Sue was born November 20, 1934 in Springlake, Texas to Melton Lee "Pody" and Beedie Lucille (Simmons) Welch.
Bennie Sue completed 2 years of college at Texas Tech University, and then married the love of her life, Bobby G. Free on February 20, 1955 at the First United Methodist Chuch in Earth, Texas. Bennie Sue was a loving wife, mother and Meme, and adored her family. Bennie Sue was a member of the First Baptist Church in Earth. Bennie Sue is preceded in death by her parents.
Bennie Sue is survived by her husband, Bobby G. Free; her son, Grady Free and his wife, Julia of Muleshoe, Texas; her two daughters, Faith Free Lewis and her husband, Gerald of Lubbock, Texas and Hope Vaughn and her husband, Larry of Muleshoe, Texas; her four grandchildren, Charity Stark, Tiffany Cheadle, Courtnee Harris and Sage Free; and her nine great-grandchildren.
