Obituary for Bertha Flores (Navarro)
Bertha Flores, age 85, of Muleshoe, Texas, died Monday, January 23, 2023 in Lubbock, Texas. She was born May 7, 1937 in Cuidad, Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. She married Jose Angel Flores in Chihuahua in 1972.
Bertha was a great cook and made the best tortillas. She enjoyed scratch off lottery tickets and getting dressed up. Bertha loved plants. She was a woman of great faith and never failed to pray. Bertha loved to attend Buen Pastor Church, where she was a member. She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Cresencia Navarro and Consuelo Navarro; and a brother, Alfonso Navarro.
Bertha is survived by her husband Jose Angel: her five sons, Jose Angel Jr. Flores of Chihuahua, Mexico, Juan Flores of Juarez, Mexico, Manuel Flores of Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua, Mexico, Pablo Flores of Bakersfield, California and Jesus Flores and his wife, Lucy of Muleshoe, Texas; her two daughters, Gabriela Tierrablanca and her husband, Eduardo of West Valley, Utah and Aurora Flores of Upland, California; her sister-in-law, Josefina Olivarez; her eleven grandchildren; and her six great-grandchildren.
