Obituary for Bill Martin
Bill Martin, age 86, of Farwell, Texas, died Sunday, December 5, 2021 in Farwell . He was born August 5,1935 in Dudley County, Texas to Earnest E. & Rosie (McCall) Martin. He married Yaunda Dale in Seagraves, Texas on August 13,1958.
Bill served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He moved to the Farwell community from Muleshoe in 1959 and was a farmer all of his life. Bill was a member of First Assembly of God in Muleshoe. He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Eune Martin; and three sisters, Ravis Isbell, Elizabeth McGuire and Imelda Howell.
Bill is survived by is wife Yaunda; his son, William Martin and his wife, Sheran of Farwell, Texas; his daughter, Yalonda McFarland of Farwell, Texas; his sister, Verna Davis of Farwell, Texas; his seven grandchildren; and his fourteen great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be sent to Muleshoe Memorial Park, PO Box 373, Muleshoe, Texas, 79347.
