Obituary for Bruce Paterson
Bruce D. Paterson, age 68, of Clovis, New Mexico, passed peacefully, Thursday, January 27, 2022 in Clovis, surrounded by his family, after a hard fought battle. He was born December 17, 1953 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Clarence and Janet (Atkinson) Paterson. He married Stephanie Savage in Taylorsville, Utah on April 1, 1994.
Bruce was the owner and operator of his own truck. His family always joked that his first love was his truck and his second love was his wife. Bruce loved everything about the bald eagle. He was truly a family man. Bruce was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Stephanie; his son, Mark Grover and his wife, Misty of West Jordan, Utah; his five daughters, Lorraine Jones of Phoenix, Arizona, Jolynn Unsworth and her husband, Justin of Phoenix, Arizona, Melanie Adair and her husband, Mathew of Clovis, New Mexico, Cari Kelley and her husband, Kenton of Clovis, New Mexico and Becky Jo Hepola and her husband, Jeremy of New Brighton, Minnesota; his two sisters, Janelle Secord and her husband, Dave of Minnesota and Nancy Oelmann Paterson of Minnesota; his four brothers, Frank Paterson and his wife, Laura of Wisconsin, Mark Paterson and his wife, Betsy of Minnesota, Dennis Paterson of Minnesota and Wayne Paterson and his wife, Alyce of West Des Moines, Iowa; and his seven grandchildren, Kaity, Ty, Ellie, Collin, Nash, Edmund and Maggie.
