C. Joyce Wilson, age 81, of Farwell, Texas, died Saturday, February 11, 2023 in Farwell. She was born June 8, 1941 in Paris, Texas to Leslie B. and Margaret E. Riley. She married
Carl E. Wilson in Dallas, Texas.
Joyce was a bookkeeper for over 60 years., She enjoyed crafting and was an avid Texas Tech Football fan. She loved Roy Orbison, George Strait, Allen Jackson, and of course, Elvis. Joyce enjoyed music and PBS. She was a member of a bowling league in Clovis, New Mexico and liked to square dance. Joyce mostly loved being with friends and family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl.
Joyce is survived by her two sons, Ron Wilson and his wife, Cecilia of San Antonio, Texas and Don Lane of Bastrop, Texas; her sister, Kay Inmon and her husband, John of Bastrop, Texas; her seven grandchildren; and her eight great-grandchildren.
