Dolores Marquez Herrera, age 54, of Muleshoe, Texas, died Saturday, January 22, 2022 in Muleshoe. He was born March 17, 1967 in Guadalupe, Distrito Bravo, Chihuahua, Mexico. He married Demetria Terrazas in Guadalupe on October 11, 1983.

Dolores loved to play the guitar and sing. He was a member of Iglesia Apostolica De La Fe En Cristo Jesus in Muleshoe. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Braulia Marquez.

Dolores is survived by his wife, Demetria; his two daughters, Imelda Marquez of Muleshoe, Texas and Leslie Marquez and her husband, Daniel of Muleshoe, Texas; his five sisters, Olga Perez and her husband, Gregorio of Muleshoe, Texas, Elvira Dozal and her husband, Martin of El Paso, Texas, Yolanda Marquez and her husband, Daniel of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Monica Marquez and her husband, Lulu of Muleshoe, Texas and Vicky Marquez and her husband, Fernando of Levelland, Texas; his six brothers, Martin Marquez and his wife, Gregoria of Muleshoe, Texas, Manuel Marquez of Plainview, Texas, Dionicio Marquez and his wife, Maria of El Paso, Texas, Elias Marquez and his wife, Nora of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Juan Marquez and his wife, Raquel of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Jose Marquez of Juarez, Mexico; and his four grandchildren, Ingrid Macias, Itzel Macias, Ian Macias and Adalee Torres.
