Obituary for Dorothy Smith (Williams)
Dorothy Smith died Monday, July 1, 2019 in Amarillo, Texas at the age of 87 years and 11 days. She was born June 20, 1932 in Wolfe City, Texas to William and Ruth Mae (Fletcher) Williams.
Dorothy was a retired CNA. She was a member of the Paramount Baptist Church in Amarillo, where she was an active member of her Sunday school class. She loved to crochet and was an avid reader. Dorothy also enjoyed playing bingo with her friends at the nursing home. Her main focus was her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, one brother and two grandsons, Christopher Smith and Brandon Smith.
Dorothy is survived by her two sons, Franklin Smith and his wife, Penny of Amarillo, Texas and Ronnie Smith and his wife, Twyla of Lubbock, Texas; and her two grandchildren, Kinsey Smith and Kasey Smith.
