Ernestine Priscilla (Willbanks) Little, age 97, of Houston, TX, formerly of Muleshoe, TX, passed away on May 17, 2022 in Houston, TX. She was born on November 13, 1924 in Frederick, OK, to Tom and Loveta (Limburg) Willbanks. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
Ernestine was a resident of Muleshoe from 1950 to 1990. She worked for many years at the Muleshoe Coop Gin and spent the rest of her years in Muleshoe as a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Muleshoe. In 2006, she moved from Muleshoe to Arizona to care for family. While there, she discovered her passion for flowers and became the caretaker for flowers and plants at many resorts in the area.
Ernestine loved to cook and entertain and was known far and wide for her amazing pecan pie. She left full bellies and full hearts everywhere she ever lived. Her quick wit and infectious laughter will forever be remembered by those fortunate to have known her. Her grandchildren will never forget the endless hours Grandma Erney spent with them as children playing card games late into the night, drinking Big Red, and eating endless amounts of cookies and fudge. Her kind smile, big hugs, and caring heart will be truly missed.
Ernestine is preceded in death by her parents and two sons; Bruce Little and Walter Little Jr.
Ernestine is survived by her son Tom Little and wife Debbie of Houston, TX; sisters, Betty Kiker of Olathe, KS and JoAnn Woods of Frederick, OK; grandchildren, Todd Little and wife Angelique of Saginaw, TX, Jarrod Little and wife Kristin of Prospect, KY, Tiffanee Farmer and husband Ben of Houston, TX; and numerous great grandchildren.
