Eugene Andrew Wittner died Friday, April 17, 2020 in Lubbock. He was born October 21, 1934 in Littlefield, Texas to Andrew and Katherine (Peters) Wittner.

Eugene served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. As a pilot, he saved the lives of 2 airmen on a training flight that crashed around the Morton area. He loved woodworking; and built many planes, cars and trucks out of wood. Eugene was an avid fan of antique cars. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, R.B. Wittner.

Eugene is survived by his sister, Peggy Knox of Kingsland, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
