Obituary for Evelyn Riley (Nickels)
Evelyn Riley died Sunday, August 4, 2019 in Muleshoe. She was born April 18, 1928 in Floydada, Texas to Guy and Bertie Susan (Jones) Nickels. She married Claude Riley in Amarillo, Texas on January 9, 1948
Evelyn was a member of the Muleshoe Ladies Golf Association, and loved to play bridge. She was also a Methodist. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and four sisters.
Evelyn is survived by her two sons, Joe Pat Riley of Irving, Texas and Mike Riley and his wife, Marilyn of Lubbock, Texas; her four grandchildren, Burnley Jaklevic, Allie Riley, Lincoln Riley and Garrett Riley; her seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be sent to the charity of your choice.
