Obituary for Faye Kelton
Donna "Faye" Kelton, age 92, of Lubbock, Texas passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021 in Keller, Texas. She was born August 13, 1929 in Amarillo, Texas to Arie and Mabel (Sanders) Woodfin. She married Robert Kelton in Muleshoe on December 31, 1945.
Faye enjoyed sewing, gardening and canning. She loved plants and flowers, and loved to dance. Faye was also an avid fan of “The Golden Girls”, and had a strong sense of humor. She was an avid sports fan, especially basketball. Most of all, Faye’s pride and joy were her kids and her grandkids. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her parents; a brother, Aaron Woodfin; and a son-in-law, Marvin Bownds.
Faye is survived by her two sons, Carrol Wayne Kelton and his wife, Marilyn of Lubbock, Texas and Aaron “Sonny” Kelton and his wife, Dena of Granbury, Texas; her three daughters, Donna Bownds and her late husband, Marvin of Hobbs, New Mexico, Sharon Kelton Tabor of Keller, Texas and Karen Kelton Westmoreland of Keller, Texas; her sister-in-law, Helen Woodfin of Ruidoso, New Mexico; her ten grandchildren, Laurie Kelton Powell, Jaimee Kelton, Mike Bownds, Leann Bownds Jones, Steve Bownds, Aaron Kyle Kelton, Kristi Kelton, Kim Kelton Marshall, Brooke Westmoreland and Ryan Westmoreland; and her fourteen great-grandchildren.
