Obituary for Gayle Morris
Gayle Morris, age 70, died Saturday, June 27, 2020 in Muleshoe. She was born February 27, 1950 in Clovis, New Mexico to Cecil and Winnie (Chambers) Mills Jr. She married Eddy Morris in Muleshoe on August 28, 1969.
Gayle worked for the John Deere house for 31 years. She loved baking and being a Nanna. She was a strong Christian woman. Gayle was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Muleshoe from the time it started. She is preceded in death by her mother, Winnie.
Gayle is survived by her husband, Eddy; her father, Cecil; her two sons, Bryan Morris and his wife, Shelly of Muleshoe, Texas and Kevin Morris and his wife, Courtney of Muleshoe, Texas; her two sisters, Linda Foshee of Littlefield, Texas and Daina Blue of Lubbock, Texas; her brother, Jimmy Mills of Logan New Mexico; and her five grandchildren, Kaylie Morris, Drew Morris, Maci Morris, Luke Spears and MacAyla Spears.
The family suggests memorials be sent to Mule Medix (Bailey County EMS), 1315 West American Blvd., Muleshoe, Texas, 79347.
