Obituary for George Robert Clark

Robert died Sunday, May 1, 2022 in Midland, Texas. He was born December 11, 1940 in Bailey County to Walter Simion and Ruby (Duncan) Clark. He married Melba Ruthardt in Juarez, Mexico on October 20, 1968.

Robert served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a feedlot manager and a cowboy for many years. Robert was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He loved fishing, horses and rodeos. He also enjoyed guns and shooting. Robert was a member of the Fellowship Christian Church in Sudan. He is preceded in death by his wife, Melba and his parents.

Robert is survived by his son, Robert Clark and his wife, Jessi of Chehalis, Washington; his four daughters, Tammie McIntosh of Canadian, Texas, Doyla Hight of Clovis, New Mexico, Mona Wilde and her husband, Neal of Garden City, Texas and Tammy Grigsby of Georgetown, Texas; his brother, Walter Ray Clark of Buchanan Dam, Texas; his ten grandchildren; and his fourteen great-grandchildren.
