Obituary for Hailey Box (Quick)
Hailey Ann Quick-Box, age 34, of Muleshoe, Texas, passed peacefully on March 16, 2021 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She was born April 26, 1986 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Lee and Dedra Quick. She married Darren Box on February 10, 2020 in Muleshoe.
Hailey graduated from Portales High School in Portales, New Mexico in 2004. She loved playing softball and tennis, winning the state tennis title. Hailey continued her education at Clovis Community College, earning her Associates degree in nursing in 2009. She then received her Bachelors degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University in 2016, followed by her Masters degree in nursing from Chamberlain University in 2018. Hailey was a flight nurse in Elko, Nevada and Portales, and served in the medical field in Portales and Clovis, New Mexico and Muleshoe. She touched many lives through her healing and her passion for caring for others, and enjoyed serving her community. Hailey had a bubbly personality and loved pulling pranks. She was an avid golfer and was very competitive in everything she did. Hailey was a driven mother, who enjoyed watching Zach and Ashton play in various sports. She enjoyed traveling and summers at the lake with her family and yearly vacations at the beach with her boys. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Donald Hurt; her paternal grandfather, Frank Carter; and her aunt, Patricia Hall.
Hailey is survived by her husband, Darren; her two sons, Zach Radloff of Muleshoe, Texas and Ashton Radloff of Muleshoe, Texas; her parents, Lee and Dedra Quick of Portales, New Mexico; her grandparents, Patricia Hurt of Amarillo, Texas and Stella Carter of Pagosa Springs, Colorado; her two sisters, Kaycee Quick of Portales, New Mexico and Sarah Hill and her husband, Trevor of Portales, New Mexico; her father and mother-in-law, Ken and Lynn Box; and numerous nieces and nephews.
