Hattie Ray Lambert died Thursday, January 3, 2019 in Lubbock, Texas at the age of 95 years, 11 months and 2 days. She was born February 1, 1923 in Muleshoe to Ray and Hattie (Freeman) Griffiths. She was married to Forrest W. Jones. After his death in 1972, Hattie married Joe Bill Alsup, and then Woody Lambert.

Hattie graduated from Muleshoe High School as the Salutorian of her class. She went on to Baylor University on an academic scholarship. She worked for her husband, Forrest at the Jones Farm Store. She loved playing cards with her friends and was an avid reader. Hattie is preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Jones; her husband, Joe Bill Alsup; her husband, Woody Lambert; her parents; her sister, Eunice Evans; and her two brothers, Herbert L. Griffiths and Cliffton C. Griffiths.

Hattie is survived by her son, Forrest (Frosty) Jones and his wife, Shady of Lubbock, Texas; her daughter, Barbara Parten of Lubbock, Texas and her daughter, Judy Kay Lambert of Lubbock, Texas; her sister-in-law, Jane Griffiths of Lubbock, Texas; her granddaughter, Marilyn Ruth Brinkley and her husband, Bryan; and her two great-grandchildren, Braelyn Ray Brinkley and Breckan Rafe Brinkley.
