Helen was extremely afraid of spiders, wasps, bees, yellow jackets, hornets, scorpions and probably a lot of other insects. She always shook out her shoes before she put them on. One day in heavy traffic stalled on LBJ Freeway in Dallas, a wasp flew in her car. She got out of the car and stood next to it hoping the wasp would fly out. When traffic started to move she was still waiting on the wasp to fly away. The driver behind her got out of his car and asked her what was going on. She told him there was a wasp in her car and she wasn't going anywhere until it was gone. The man was so exasperated he grabbed the wasp with his bare hand, tossed it out of the car and asked her "Alright, can we go now lady?"
